Team news is starting to take shape ahead of the weekend's Premier League visit of Fulham, with Birmingham Live running the rule over who Unai Emery might pick, including whether Alysson starts and a decision to be made on Barkley (Birmingham Live).

There's been plenty of love for Nicolas Jackson since his reunion with Emery at Villa. Sky Sports has looked at why the club could be the perfect fit for the Senegal striker to kick on (Sky Sports), while Ian Wright has been full of praise too, with TeamTalk and Football365 both reporting the pundit backing Jackson to 'go on a run' as onlookers rave about his performances (TeamTalk) (Football365).

Away from matters on the pitch, Jamie Carragher has been talking up Manchester United's chances of prising Emery away from Villa Park, with Football365 reporting some choice words aimed at Villa supporters as he suggested United would simply 'take' the Spaniard if they wanted him (Football365).
